Olive and Peach

Grandpa's Favorite Peach Cobbler

Cook time: 50 minutes
Total time: 70 minutes
Makes 6 servings

Ingredients
  • 4 cups fresh sliced peaches

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1/2 cup reduced-fat milk

  • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 cup topping (see recipe below)

  • 1 cup boiling water


Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Put sliced peaches in a 9 inch baking dish.

In a medium bowl, mix flour, milk, butter, baking powder, and salt. Pour batter over peaches.

Sprinkle topping over the batter.

Pour 1 cup of boiling water over cobbler. Bake for 50 minutes
